Steve
Owner
Steve Sack is the majority owner of ReImagine Recreation and co-owner of Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy. His 30 years of experience has involved founding, helping develop or playing an integral role in rebuilding or growing three different youth and adult sports organizations spanning volleyball, basketball, flag football and soccer.
Steve actively supports numerous national and regional sports-based non-profit organizations including:
- Junior Volleyball Association – Board Member, Finance Committee Chairman and member of the Mentor Program, assisting other youth volleyball clubs nationwide.
- NCYS – National Council of Youth Sports
- Ralph C. Wilson Foundation
- Play Sports Coalition – Member of the Grass Roots Committee
- Starlings Volleyball
He is excited to continue the growth of our community partnerships and the development of our youth both on and off the court/field. Steve lives in West Bloomfield with his wife Jenny and their two Portuguese Water Dogs. They have three adult children, Jacob, John and Megan.
Jesse
General Manager
Jessica is a former collegiate athlete and Oakland University graduate. She has spent 10+ years sharing her love of sports through coaching volleyball at various high schools and travel clubs but is currently taking time off from coaching to focus on her teenage daughter. Jessica’s passions lie in youth development and community healing and she has dedicated her career working towards creating meaningful opportunities for at-risk youth and families. Her professional experience includes 5+ years of building and leading youth/family afterschool and welfare programming. When she is not working or spending time with her daughter, Jessica loves to spend time outside and with her two dogs.
Stocker
Facility Manager
Steven has 10+ years in athletic facilities and was previously a Facility Manager at Michigan Elite Volleyball for 6+ years before joining our team. Steven is currently studying Professional Informational Technology at Macomb Community College. Although he specializes in volleyball, Steven loves all sports equally and is excited to be at a multi-sports complex where he can expand his specialized facility knowledge into other sports.
Sarha
Program Manager
Sarha has been affiliated with youth sports for over 15 years as a Head Coach and Age Group Coordinator for Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy. Professionally, Sarha has over 10 years of experience working in Automotive for two large automotive suppliers in the Metro Detroit area, predominately on Business Development and Sales teams.
Holly
Supervisor and Lead Caretaker
Holly has 20+ years experience in cleaning facilities and has been servicing our buildings for 4+ years. Her dedication to quality extends beyond her facility duties into being a caring Aunt to her niece and nephew. Cleaning is her passion and she enjoys using her skills to make everyone happy to be at our facility.
Bee
Facility Supervisor
Bee Her is a graduate of Baker College with an associate degree in applied science and information
technology. He is now attending Davenport University pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration
in Sports Management. His experience in sports has come through playing and coaching in recreation
within the community. He is an inspired individual who worked alongside many Hmong organizations for
over 15 years of experience hosting sporting events. His goals and vision are to empower and build
relationships and success through sports.
Vanessa
Event and Community Partnership Manager
Vanessa obtained her Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Wayne State University in 2012, and has a passion for community engagement and youth support. As a collegiate athlete herself, Vanessa knows how team sports help build confidence and discipline, as well as social and life skills. Professionally, Vanessa has more than 10 years of corporate experience in the Automotive industry, specializing in company event planning, travel management, and fleet administration. Her role at Sports Complex as the Events and Community Partnership Manager unites her experiences and education with our overall mission to provide enriching programming and events to the community.
Christina
Supervisor and Pickleball Ambassador
Christina is a retired educator with 30+ years of experience. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and has a master’s from Michigan State University. Christina enjoys playing pickleball and tennis and is eager to help athletes of all ages enrich their lives by engaging in sports.
Ted
Pickleball Ambassador
Ted retired from a career in the advertising/marketing field, most
recently being a sales executive at Fox Sports. ReImagine’s focus on
youth sports and community involvement is a key reason he joined the
company, having been a CYO coach in several sports. Ted’s passion
for team sports (being an avid pickleball player) along with his
experience in customer/client service will serve him well as a Shift
Supervisor.
